Welcome

I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Department of Computer Science, focusing on applications of computer vision to human computer interaction (HCI).

My main research interest is in novel display and interaction techniques that explore new ways of digitally interfacing with everyday objects. Focusing on projector-camera systems, 3D scanning, augmented reality, and tangible interfaces.

I am co-advised by Prof. David Forsyth (Computer Vision) and Prof. Brian Bailey (HCI).

I was recently named a Siebel Scholar Fellow. My research partner Rajinder Sodhi also became a Siebel Scholar.

"The Siebel Scholars program was established by the Siebel Foundation in 2000 to recognize the most talented students at the world’s leading graduate schools of business, computer science, and bioengineering. Each year, 80 exceptional students receive a $35,000 award during their final year of studies based on outstanding academic performance and leadership. Today, our active community of more than 500 Scholars serves as advisors to the Siebel Foundation and works collaboratively to find solutions to society’s most pressing problems."
